Taksh is of Sanskrit origin, derived from the root 'taksh' meaning to fashion, construct, or cut. In Indian mythology, Taksh was the son of Bharata and the founder of the city Takshashila (Taxila). It also refers to Takshaka, a prominent Naga king in the Mahabharata.
