This reads the name, not the birth chart
In Vedic practice the arrow points the other way. The Moon's position at the exact moment of birth fixes the nakshatra and its pada, the pada prescribes a starting syllable, and the family chooses a name beginning with that syllable. This page runs that backwards: it tells you which nakshatra a name would suit. It cannot tell you a child's actual nakshatra or rashi, because those depend on the sky at birth and not on spelling.
